BAGUIO CITY, Philippines - Baguio City has deployed 1,100 law enforcers and government personnel for the Holy Week to assist motorists and ensure the safety of residents and tourists, Baguio City Police Office Director (BCPO) for Operations Domingo Gambican said during the City Hall Hour on March 20.

Gambian said that BCPO is increasing the number of personnel to be deployed during the Holy Week.

“We have 633 personnel intended for the Holy Week activities all over the city, kasama na po diyan yung mga traffic personnel natin. And if we include yung mga force multipliers, aabot pa ho tayo ng 1,100 plus,” Gambican said.

Personnel will be stationed throughout the city, including churches and other places of worship, tourist spots, bus terminals, big establishments, and bars, Gambican added.

BCPO City Director Francisco Bulwayan Jr., in a statement posted on the Baguio PIO Facebook page, reminded the public to remain vigilant and responsible during the Holy Week to ensure everyone’s safety.
